Body recovered from Lake Michigan near Navy Pier: CPD

CHICAGO – A body was recovered from the waters of Lake Michigan Friday morning.

Chicago police said at around 10 a.m., a CPD boat was sent to the area just south of Navy Pier for reports of a body found in the water. Officers arrived and pulled the remains of an “unknown male” from the water.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information was released and Area Three Detectives are investigating.
