Chipotle to open new locations in Chicago, Schaumburg

CHICAGO — Burrito lovers rejoice! Two new Chipotle restaurants are coming to Chicagoland this month.

A company spokesperson said the new restaurants will be located on Chicago’s Far North Side and northwest suburban Schaumburg.

Both new locations will feature the restaurant’s classic bowls, tacos, and Mission burritos as well as a “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru pickup lane that will offer guests the option to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

According to the company, the Chicago location, which is set to open on Friday, Oct. 18, will sit at US-14 and North Richmond Street, in West Ridge.

The new Schaumburg location will sit near East Golf Road and North Meacham Road. Officials have not yet announced when the location will open for customers.

Both new restaurants will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

Company officials said both restaurants are currently hiring and will have about 30 jobs per location.
