    Sunday Forecast: Picturesque fall temps continue

    CHICAGO (WGN) — If you’re a fan of the warm October temperatures we’ve been receiving here in Chicagoland, the next few days are likely to have your kind of weather.

    Sunday

    The forecast is calling for abundant sunshine with temperatures in the mid-to-high 70s in the suburbs, with temperatures sitting in the low-to-mid 70s lakeside in the city.

    Outlook: Mostly sunny, breezy & warmer. SSW 10-20, G25 mph

    High: 78

    Sunday night

    As we enter the night, the weather is looking mostly clear and not as chilly, with winds coming out of the Southwest at 5-10 mph.

    Low: 52

    Monday

    Unseasonably warm wit temperatures possibly hitting 80 in different spots throughout Chicagoland, with it being a bit breezy and mostly sunny. Expect winds of 5-15 mph out of the South and southwest.

    Extended Outlook

    The extended outlook calls for mid to low 70s on Tuesday with increasing clouds. Chance of showers late Tue into Wed with highs near the seasonal average in the lower 60s. Sunshine returns late in the week as we stair-step back towards low 70s by next weekend.
