    Police seek public’s help identifying suspects involved in separate incidents on CTA Red Line

    CHICAGO – Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of people involved in two separate incidents on the CTA Red Line.

    Police said on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11:22 p.m. the suspects approached the victim while on the train at the Red Line’s 87th Street Station and took their property by use of force.

    About 30 minutes later, an attempted robbery happened on a train at the Red Line’s 47th Street Station.

    During that incident, the suspects approached the victim and, armed with a knife, maced the victim in order to try and take their belongings.

    Based on photographs from CPD, it appears some of the same suspects were involved in both incidents.

    The suspects are described as a group of men and women between the ages of 18 and 25.
