It’s not easy to keep a restaurant running for 30-plus years.

But Vinci, located at 1732 North Halsted Street, is one of those rare places that’s still going strong after more than three decades.

Owner Paul LoDuca says to keep a restaurant open that long is a “battle.”

“We had ups and downs through the pandemic and everything, but we made it through,” he says. “It’s great to say 33 years and going strong.”

LoDuca and chef Ino Cruz of Vinci joined Sean Lewis on the WGN Weekend Morning News Sunday Brunch to make breakfast bruschetta and show some of Vinci’s other breakfast/brunch offerings.
