Jordan Jose Ocampo, 44, has been charged with felony theft and felony burglary in connection with a theft from a Cook County State’s Attorney’s office in July.

Deputies said on Tuesday, July 23, Sheriff’s Police Detectives were notified about a theft that occurred at the building after employees noticed three laptops and other items were missing from the 12th-floor office.

Following a review of security footage from the night before, authorities spotted an individual, who was later identified as Ocampo, allegedly leaving the building with the missing items that evening.
