    Archer Matt Stutzman searched ‘how to teach an armless man how to shoot a bow’ at start of Paralympic career

    (NEXSTAR) – Known for his sense of humor, Paralympic archer Matt Stutzman jokes that the lack of results when he searched for someone with a similar situation is the reason he’s on his way to his fourth Paralympics.

    “Nothing came up,” Stutzman said. “I was like, oh, this is going to be fun. but I knew at that point in my life that this is how I was going to provide for my family, right? And I was going to do whatever it took to teach myself how to how to make it work.”

    The single dad of three won the silver medal in the individual compound open at the London 2012 games. Since then, he’s competed at every summer games.
