Uber Eats driver carjacked during Central City delivery

NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating the carjacking of an Uber Eats delivery driver that happened on Monday, July 15.

According to police, the woman delivered food to a home in the 3900 block of 3rd Street when she was approached by two men.

The victim reported that one of the suspects showed a gun and “demanded her car keys.” Following that, she stated that the same suspect “proceeded to punch her in the face” before leaving in her car.
