    Silver Alert issued for 65-year-old Kenner man

    KENNER, La. ( WGNO ) — The Louisiana State Police, on behalf of the Kenner Police Department, has issued a Silver Alert for a 65-year-old man after he was found to be missing on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 29.

    According to the LSP, the man, identified as James Evans Jr., was last seen around 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday. He was discovered missing around 10:30 a.m. the next morning.

    Evans has brown eyes and gray hair. He stands around six feet tall, weighs around 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a teal shirt and burgundy pants. Evans reportedly walked away from a Kenner assisted living facility, where he’s a patient.

    Family members say that Evans has a medical condition that could impair his judgment.

    Anyone with information on Evans’ whereabouts is asked to call the KPD at 504-712-2222 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the KPD.
