    Two Greater New Orleans high school football games move to Caesers Superdome due to rain

    NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — Due to rain impacting Greater New Orleans on Friday, two high school football games were held inside the Caesars Superdome.

    New Orleans hosting ‘We Love Taylor’ week for Taylor Swift Eras tour

    ASM Global, the organization that manages Superdome events, reported Friday’s schedule to run as follows:

    • Gate Open — 4 p.m. All fans enter through Gate F Exterior Plaza
    • Game 1 Kickoff — 5 p.m. John Curtis Christian and Rabun Gap (SC)
    • Game 2 — Archbishop Rummel and Lafayette Christian follow end of game 1

    According to ASM Global, all advanced tickets were to be honored. Gameday tickets could be purchased at Gate F and were available through the schools.

    All guests were asked to park in Garage 5. Parking was $10 and could be purchased with a debit or credit card. Cash wasn’t accepted.

    Showers move south by Saturday afternoon

    Clear Bag Policy: All bags were prohibited other than clear vinyl bags no larger than 12″ wide x 12″ height x 6″ deep, Gallon Size Ziploc Bags (Limit 1 of either) or Small Clutch Purses no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5.” Non-clear Diaper bags are prohibited.

    Cashless Operations: The Caesars Superdome is a cashless operation including all concessions, merchandise and parking. Cash will not be accepted as a form of payment at any parking, retail, or concession locations within Caesars Superdome.
