    Clandestine lab discovered in St. Bernard Parish, four arrested

    ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — A clandestine lab was discovered in St. Bernard Parish, leading to the arrests of four 19-year-olds.

    The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office reported those arrested include Eugene Dejean, of Chalmette, Autumn Blackmore, of Arabi, Daniel Liebert, of Chalmette, and Tyler Johnson, of Chalmette.

    Dejean was charged with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute THC vapes, possession with intent to distribute THC edibles, possession with intent to distribute Psilocybin Psilocin Mushrooms, possession with intent to distribute Psilocybin Psilocin Edibles, conspiracy to distribute schedule I, manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance, clandestine lab, proceeds from drug transactions, possession of a firearm while in possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Blackmore was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute THC vapes, possession with intent to distribute THC edibles, possession with intent to distribute Psilocybin Psilocin Mushrooms, possession with intent to distribute Psilocybin Psilocin Edibles, manufacturing of a controlled dangerous substance, clandestine lab, possession of a firearm while in possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Liebert was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana , obstruction of justice-evidence tampering and criminal conspiracy.

    Johnson was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, obstruction of justice-evidence tampering and criminal conspiracy.

    Deputies reported finding over $5,000 in cash, a Smith and Wesson M&P BodyGuard .380 firearm, a Mossberg Model 59 shotgun and a Palmetto State Armory .9 mm semi-automatic handgun.

    Sheriff James Pohlmann said he’s concerned with the trend of drug dealers using cleverly marketed and packaged substances.

    “The recent drug bust is troubling, especially given how the dealers seem to be targeting youth by packaging these dangerous substances in bright, colorful packages that appeal to them. We are fully committed to pursuing those responsible and ensuring that our children are protected from such threats.”
