    Jahkeem Stewart reportedly leaves St. Aug

    NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — The top player in the class of 2026 has reportedly left St. Augustine High School.

    The news was first reported by rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst, Sam Spiegelman.

    Reports surfaced Friday afternoon that five-star defensive end, JhaKeen Stewart, was no longer enrolled at the school and has reclassified to the class of 2025.

    The 6’6, 270-pound talent entered his junior year with offers from LSU, Alabama, Texas, and Miami.

    As a sophomore, he recorded 80 tackles and 20 sacks with the Purple Knights.

    St. Aug is set to open the 2024 regular season Saturday against McDonogh 35.
