BATON ROUGE, La. ( WGNO ) – LSU linebacker Harold Perkins has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season, according to multiple reports.

CBS Sports’s Matt Zenitz first broke the news Sunday evening.

During the fourth quarter of the Tigers’ game against UCLA on September 21st, Perkins and Bruins’ wide receiver J. Michael Sturdivant collided on a first down.

The junior remained on the ground after the play but walked off the field under his own power. Perkins would go on to miss the rest of the game.

The Tigers will now, reportedly, lose the two-time All-SEC linebacker two weeks before beginning a 7-game conference slate.

Perkins totaled 16 tackles and one fumble recovery throughout the Tigers’ first four games.
