NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Drier air will continue to funnel in throughout the day. There is a steep cut off from the tropical moisture that is impacting Florida and the eastern states, and the airmass that we have overhead. Highs are back into the mid to upper 80s this afternoon with the help of ample sunshine.

Tonight is when we get that little “taste” of fall-like weather. Lows drop into the lower 60s across southeast Louisiana.
