One hospitalized following Algiers shooting

ALGIERS, La. ( WGNO ) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in Algiers on Thursday, Sept. 26.

According to the NOPD, officers were called to the intersection of Tullis Drive and Woodland Drive just before 6:10 p.m.

On scene, a man was found to have been shot in the leg, and was then taken by New Orleans EMS to a hospital.

No further information was provided.
