NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — It’s history with a 75-year history.

“Stormin’ of the Sazerac” celebrates a bold, boozy moment.

The location is The Roosevelt New Orleans.

It remembers a courageous group of ladies who stormed the hotel’s Sazerac Bar.

That was in 1949.
