NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — Week four of the 2024 NFL season presents a first for one of the New Orleans Saints defensive leaders.

Linebacker Demario Davis (hamstring) will miss his first game with the Saints because of injury. He missed a game in the 2021 season because of Covid-19.

Demario Davis, Cesar Ruiz (knee), and A.T. Perry (hamstring) have been ruled out for the Saints contest Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.

Running back Alvin Kamara (hip/ribs) and wide receiver Chris Olave (hamstring) are questionable.

The news comes after the biggest blow of the 2024 regular season with center Erik McCoy placed on injured reserve following a groin injury suffered in their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Saints will face the Falcons Sunday at noon.
