    12-year-old student accused of sending threatening texts arrested in St. Bernard Parish

    ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — A 12-year-old boy was arrested in St. Bernard Parish after he allegedly sent threatening text messages to another student on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

    The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that a student at Andrew Jackson Middle School was booked in connection with the texts that reportedly threatened violence after school officials, the sheriff’s office and other agencies completed an investigation.

    SBSO officials said additional deputies were on the school’s campus as a precaution.

    The student faces a charge of terrorizing.

    People say awful things on the internet all the time and yall have the nerve to arrest a 12 year old boy. YALL need to arrest Donald Trump first for threatening the entire world. Let that innocent young man go , yall should be ashamed of urselves
