    DESOTO PARISH, La. ( KTAL/KMSS ) – Get ready to hit the road for one of the most exciting fall events! The 50 Mile Trail of Treasures is back, offering a full day of shopping through towns along Highway 171.

    The event kicks off on Saturday, October 12, at 8 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m . , giving you plenty of time to discover hidden gems.

    The trail begins in Stonewall and winds through Keatchie, Gloster, Grand Cane, Mansfield, Stanley, and Logansport before crossing into Joaquin, Texas. Along the way, visitors will find parking lot sales, bustling church markets, and businesses showcasing a variety of items.

    Along the way, The Antique Adoption Fall Trade Days will also be held on Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m . at Antique Adoption, featuring a wide selection of vendors and delicious food trucks.

    Whether you’re on the hunt for antiques, collectibles, or just want to enjoy some local flavor, the 50 Mile Trail of Treasures has something for everyone. Best of all, parking and entry are free. Bring the whole family for a weekend filled with shopping, great food, and fun!
