    St. John the Baptist Parish Hurricane Francine disaster recovery center relocates

    ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency Hurricane Francine disaster recovery center in St. John the Baptist Parish is relocating.

    Francine made landfall in Terrebonne Parish on Sept. 11, leaving behind flooding, storm damage and power outages across Southeast Louisiana.

    New Orleans RTA to offer free rides on election day

    According to FEMA, the recovery center at the Reserve Library at 1482 Highway 44 will close on Oct. 11 at 5 p.m.

    The new center will open on Oct. 16 at the Westbank Library at 2979 Highway 18 in Edgard at 8 a.m.

    FEMA officials said the centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

    Residents from St. John the Baptist, Lafourche, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. James, Terrebonne, St. Mary and Assumption parishes can visit the center or locations in their respective area to speak with FEMA and Small Business Administration representatives.
