On this season, she’s sitting down to have those real conversations with celebrity guests like Chloe Bailey, Miranda Lambert, and Kirk Franklin.
“They just drop gems, they drop gems about life, effortless conversations with people who are larger than life, and you don’t expect it,” she said.
She especially feels larger than life in a certain city.
“It is no secret that I spend a lot of time in New Orleans. It is like a home to me,” she said.
Back in 2017, Hall was the “Honorary Muse” in the Krewe of Muses parade.
“I remember I had just lost my job and was entering a new chapter of my life. I remember thinking that I’m not on TV anymore, so I told Muses if they wanted someone else to be the Honorary Muse they could, but they said, we love you, come here and ride in the shoe with us,” Hall said.
Hall went on to say, “I remember during the parade, looking over at a girl who was on her dad’s shoulder with a sign that read: “Tamron, you’re black girl magic.” At the time I felt so afraid of the new chapter. I get so emotional thinking about it.”
It took a heel to help her heal.
“I feel like everyone wants to be rooted for. In return, we should root for other people and that’s our show,” she said.
“I want to be the person that talks with you, and not at you. I want to laugh with you and not laugh at you. I want to cry with you, and not make you cry. That’s the goal of the show,” Hall said.
