Louisiana State Police investigates ‘serious accident’ on Crescent City Connection

NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — All three lanes of the Crescent City Connection are closed due to a ” serious accident,” according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Officials with the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) report the closure began around 11:27 a.m. on the westbound side of the bridge.

The Louisiana State Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
