Orchard Park, NY (WGR550) - While the Buffalo Bills are still dealing with a number of injuries to key players, there were some positive developments on the field on Tuesday.

Rookie safety Cole Bishop returned to practice after a multiple week absence due to a shoulder injury. Bishop wore a red non-contact jersey as he joined his teammates on the practice field outside the ADPRO Sports Training Center. Bishop did some individual position work, but did not take part in any full team reps against the offense.

Also practicing were defensive tackle Austin Johnson and defensive ends Javon Solomon and Casey Toohill, all of whom appeared to be full participants.

Linebacker Nicholas Morrow took part in individual drills, but did not appear to take any defensive team reps.

The team was still without safeties Mike Edwards and Damar Hamlin, wide receivers Curtis Samuel and Marquez Valdes-Scantling tight end Quintin Morris, linebacker Baylor Spector, offensive lineman Travis Clayton, and quarterback Mitch Trubisky.

The Bills announced prior to practice they signed quarterback Anthony Brown as they prepare for their final preseason game Saturday against the Carolina Panthers.

Head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday that the starters will not play Saturday.
