Planet Fitness Coming to Douglasville

Douglasville is getting a new gym.

Planet Fitness is coming to 6700 Douglas Boulevard at Arbor Place . It is expected to open in December.

The team behind the gym is Eclipse Fitness Group , a franchisee of the fitness brand with locations in Georgia and Florida. The Douglasville gym will be the group’s 23rd location of Planet Fitness. They recently opened one in Kennesaw .

Planet Fitness is one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisers and operators of fitness centers in the world. It was founded in 1992 in New Hampshire and now has about 2,500 locations.

Planet Fitness prides itself on being a judgment-free zone for working out, offering a variety of cardio and strength equipment.

The new Douglasville location will feature state-of-the-art equipment, the PF Black Card Spa and locker rooms. Classic and Black Card membersh i ps are both available now ahead of the gym’s opening.
