According to an article from the Daily Herald , Rosebud Steakhouse will soon open another location in Wheeling at 500 W Dundee Road.

“We have wanted to go into the North Shore or Northern Chicago area for a while. Within the last few years, we have seen fewer customers commuting to the downtown area from the surrounding suburbs like we used to, so we started looking into opening a location more North for that. We plan to open the Wheeling location in October,” President and Chief Executive Officer Angelo Eliadas told What Now Chicago .

“We fell in love with the space. It is extremely beautiful and shows tremendous potential for a restaurant. Rosebud Steakhouse is a prime steakhouse with a high-end, fine-dining, white tablecloth ambiance. We work with only one meat purveyor, Midwest by Linz, as we feel they are the best in the business and have similar philosophies to us.”

“Rosebud Steakhouse will be a quality-driven, service-oriented dining experience, with table-side service. We always try to create a special and great experience. We also have Coppolillo’s in Libertyville which is more of an Italian steakhouse approach.”

“The space will be a classic Chicago-style steakhouse that we have modernized a little bit, but will still have the feel of an old-school steakhouse. There will be dark wood, high ceilings, and chandeliers. It will be similar to the design of our Munster, Indiana location.”

“Rosebud Steakhouse used to be a part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, which has been in Chicago for about 55 years or so. Steve Coppolillo is my primary business partner, and we are the controlling managing partners of all our entities, including Rosebud.”

“We take a lot of pride in what we do. We came into the industry in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that’s okay! We have never viewed COVID-19, inflation, or any issue that can be found in the industry as a reason to not succeed, and we have.”

“We are driven by growth and are looking into Florida, Nashville, Texas, and Arizona in the upcoming years for expansion. We are passionate about what we do and always strive to create the best experience. We keep it simple but consistent.”
