Pub and Grill Planning Expansion, Adding a Billiards Room

Crazee Mule Pub & Grill has filed a permit with the city to expand its current space and create a billiards room. The establishment is located at 6188 Cleveland Ave and the language in the permit details alterations to expand into the vacant adjacent space at 6180 Cleveland Ave.

Anthony Brown, owner of Crazee Mule Pub & Grill, tells What Now Columbus that this expansion is something he’s wanted to do for a long time.

“I’ve always wanted to make the space into a billiards room and make it something high class,” he said. Brown said the new space will feature an additional bar, over a dozen TVs and, of course pool tables, seven to be exact.

Additionally, the new space will add about 3,000 square feet to the existing footprint, and will include additional bathrooms, along with some office and administrative space.

Once the expansion is complete, Brown said he plans to host billiards leagues as well as monthly tournaments with a cash prize for tournament winners. In addition to the bar in the new space, billiards room guests will still be able order food from the menu, which includes shareables like potato skins, wings and pretzel bites. Main course food selections range from pizza to sandwiches and burgers as well as soup and salads.

In terms of the timeline for opening the billiards room, Brown said he is hopeful that the permitting process will wrap up within a few weeks, with opening to follow upon approval.
