Space Station Themed Eatery Coming to Columbus Promises an Immersive Experience

As detailed in a Columbus Underground article, big things are happening this year, and beyond, at 11 W State St. While the historic structure may be best known as the Ho-Toy Building, it is now owned by Bonnier Building LLC. Purchased by Tora Bonnier who has announced she will open three concepts at the location which include a foraging based restaurant on the main floor called The State House , a dance club in the basement called Sous-Sol and a third space station restaurant concept called Xenon will occupy the building’s second floor mezzanine.

“Xenon is a dream I’ve had since 2017, but I’d envisioned it as being called Project X during that time,” Bonnier said about the concept.

Bonnier continued and added that her long-held dream of bringing Xenon to life was the original reason she wanted to buy the building. And since she’s had this idea for the past seven years, Bonnier is keeping many of the details of the space themed concept tightly under wraps.

Xenon is set to offer guests an immersive, high level experience and provide a glimpse into what it would be like to eat a meal in space. Given the amount of work needed to bring the idea fully to life, Bonnier estimates that the concept will open within the next two years.
