Another Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is on its way to the Dayton area, according to a recent Dayton.com article. The restaurant will be located at 910 S Main St, in Englewood, at the former site of Bolts Sports Cafe. The former cafe building was torn down to make way for new construction of the 2,500 square foot Freddy’s restaurant that will feature a drive-thru and indoor dining area. Currently, groundbreaking is set for next week, with the custard and steakburger eatery slated to open in late August or early September.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has more than 500 locations across the U.S. with over a dozen restaurants currently open in Ohio. The Englewood Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers franchise will be owned and operated by Ohio based DJ Hospitality Group, who operates several restaurants in the Dayton and Columbus markets. It is unclear what the seating capacity will be at the location, but What Now Columbus reached out to the hospitality group for more information, but a request for comment wasn’t immediately available.

The menu features steakburgers, available served with two patties on a regular or pretzel bun, or on toasted bread, patty melt style. The burgers are topped with items such as lettuce, tomato, jalapeno and bacon. In addition to steakburgers, the menu also includes chicken sandwiches and all-beef hot dogs.

And the eatery’s shoestring style fries are available plain, or topped with chili and cheese. Additional sides include onion rings and cheese curds. Frozen custard is available in whatever way a guest likes, such as in a cone, concretes, shakes, or in a decadent ice cream cookie sandwich.
