    Sheetz Files Permit for New Location in Polaris

    According to information in a recently filed permit, Sheetz, the Pennsylvania based fueling station and convenience store that also serves fast casual made to order options plans to open another Columbus area location at 1555 Polaris Pkwy, in Polaris. Over the past several months What Now Columbus has reported on three other permits filed by this growing company for new construction of Sheetz stores around the Columbus area. The total projected cost of the new construction for the forthcoming Polaris Parkway location is $1.9 million, according to information in the permit application.

    With over Sheetz 700 locations across Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, the family owned business has been around for 70 years. In terms of made to order food offerings, the menu consists of breakfast, lunch, snacks and a diverse beverage selection.

    A few fast casual items offered include hotdogs as well as brats, plus sandwiches and burgers, in addition to sides and snacks like fries, soft pretzels and mozzarella sticks. The breakfast offerings range from bagel sandwiches to breakfast burritos.

    The beverage choices include a variety of coffee drinks like drip and cold brew, in addition to lattes, served hot or iced. Other offerings include lemonade, tea and milkshakes, available in several flavors.
