    Seattle Bakery Known For its Hand Pies Coming to Central Ohio Next Month

    According to a recent article , Piroshky Piroshky, a Seattle based bakery famous for its sweet and savory hand pies is making stops in Dayton and Columbus as part of its nationwide pop-up event schedule. Operating on a pre-order pickup, the Eastern European inspired bakery will stop at Combustion Brewing on Thursday, September 12 and The Dayton Beer Co. on Friday, September 13.

    Established in 1992 by owner and CEO Olga Sagan, Piroshky Piroshky serves hungry customers from across the country every day who come to visit its iconic flagship location in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Some of its most popular varieties include a beef and cheese, potato and cheese and veggie chipotle piroshky, along with sweet items like the chocolate cream hazelnut roll.

    What Now Columbus reached out to Sagan for comment on the upcoming pop-up tour, but a request for comment was not immediately returned.

    There are no minimum purchase requirements, but pre-orders for each location must be placed no later than two days prior to the scheduled pop-up event. Orders may be placed on the bakery’s website .
