A New Sweet Shop Concept Coming Soon to North Columbus

As detailed in a recent permit filing, a new business is on its way to 5775 Cleveland Ave. The permit is to perform an interior buildout of the space, which is located in a shopping plaza, with the anticipated cost for the work projected at $20,000.

The ownership is keeping the name tightly under wraps, but the business is being brought to the community by the same owner who recently opened the popular bubble tea and crepe establishment called Bubble and Crepe House located at 5500 Hall Rd. In addition to the crepe business, the ownership also filed a permit to open a sweet shop location at 1070 Norton Rd.

In a previous interview with What Now Columbus the ownership shared that the plan is to open both the Norton Road and Cleveland Avenue shops, with at least one other location likely opening as well. Its menu items will include soft serve ice cream, hot chocolate, coffee drinks and stuffed donut holes.
