As recently reported by Columbus Business First , City Winery plans to begin construction soon on its location coming to 2108 S High St. According to the article, the New York based company announced its intentions to expand to the Columbus market in 2022, but the project has faced delays that are a combination of shifting its focus in 2024 to its existing locations and the ownership waiting out high interest rates.

Although he wasn’t ready to share additional details at the time of this article’s publication, CEO of City Winery Michael Dorf confirmed with What Now Columbus that, at this time, the company hopes to open the Columbus location by the end of 2025.

As the name suggests, the business focuses on wines, as well as food and live entertainment, and per information in the previous article, the Columbus location will include a full winery and restaurant, as well as indoor and outdoor spaces for live music. City Winery is located in several cities across the U.S., including New York, Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Atlanta and others.

In addition to wines, there are also ciders, beers and cocktails, as well as soft drinks available. Food selections range from charcuterie, salads and shareable plates to pizzas.
