Off the Rails Ice House Comes to Celina

Off The Rails Ice House is set to open in Celina by August 2025. Located south of Sunset Boulevard and west of Coit Road, the venue will cover about 15 acres, featuring a large outdoor pavilion and an indoor space of roughly 5,500 square feet.

Owners Tucker Covington and Kyle Wheland, friends since 2007, are creating an ice house-themed restaurant with seating for around 150 people. The highlight will be an 8,800-square-foot covered patio, equipped with TVs, fans, and misters, designed for year-round enjoyment.

The menu will include Americana favorites like smash burgers, Tex-Mex, and salads. Wheland told the Celina Record , “We are excited to be a part of Celina so we are going to lean into Celina’s heritage, which is why we choose the name Off the Rails Ice House with the railway running through the city of Celina.”
