Fort Worth native ice cream brand, Melt Ice Creams , will soon be serving up its premium small batch ice creams in a new Fort Worth location, at 700 Main St.

“We make every inclusion by hand using only the best ingredients we can get our hands on,” Founder Kari Crowe-Seher told What Now Dallas .

Currently in permitting, work on the new location is set to begin in November 2024, with a projected opening in winter 2025.

Founded in 2014 by Melt set out to fill a gap in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with its premium, small-batch ice cream crafted from high-quality, all-natural ingredients, according to its website. Known for its creamy richness, each batch is made with a high percentage of butterfat and fresh dairy. Melt hand-makes every inclusion, bakes cookies in-house, and even developed a unique twist on the classic Oreo with its “Cookie Crush” cookie, made with dense dark cocoa and a hint of salt. The shop’s waffle cones are baked using real butter and heavy cream, and its ice creams are flavored naturally with fresh fruits, often sourced from local farmers.

Since opening its doors in Fort Worth, Melt has grown to four locations, with products now available in boutique grocery stores and at events citywide–the new location will be its fifth.

The Melt team is also a proud partner of The Birthday Party Project, a non-profit whose mission is to bring joy to children experiencing homelessness through the magic of a birthday party.
