Reston Getting its Very Own Call Your Mother Deli

Reston foodies hungry for a new way to scratch a carb itch, prepare for your next big obsession. Call Your Mother, the popular DMV “Jew-ish” deli, is opening a new location-it’s 17th-in the North Point Village Center, reports the Washington Business Journal.

The concept is making certain Reston has a steady supply of bagels; Call Your Mother is moving into the space that last housed Bobby’s Bagel Cafe at 1484 North Point Village Center. The eatery will begin serving customers out of the 1,600 square foot storefront in the next three to four months, after the location has been sufficiently renovated.

Call Your Mother, the brainchild of Daniela Moreira and Andrew Dana, first took form at various DC farmer’s markets. The duo debuted the concept’s first brick and mortar in Park View in 2018. Call Your Mother has earned a devoted fan following through its unique approach to bagels and whimsical marketing. As the website states: “We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we’re serious about bagels. With a *chef’s kiss* of honey, they’re somewhere between a classic NY-style bagel and the sweeter, Montreal-style bagels from our friends up North.”
