In-N-Out Burger Exploring Possible Longmont Site

Recent reports from the Denver Post revealed that In-N-Out Burger is continuing expansion efforts in Northern Colorado. The chain is eyeing a potential expansion into Longmont at the bustling intersection of CO-119 and Harvest Moon Drive.

A virtual meeting with the city was conducted last week to introduce the brand’s proposal. Now, In-N-Out can submit an application for a conditional use permit, and then have a public hearing regarding the plans.

In the meeting, Jeff Bryant, development manager, explained the building would be “approximately 3,900 square feet with indoor seating for 77 guests and outdoor seating for 28 guests under a detached patio. The site is going to be well landscaped and it’s going to include a covered trash enclosure, a drive-thru with dedicated on-site queuing for 29 cars, and on-site parking for 40 guests.”

The property is at the southwest of the intersection, near retail giant Costco. Once the project is approved, the building process for an In-N-Out typically takes eight to nine months. It would operate seven days a week from 10 AM to 1 AM on weekdays and until 1:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
