C Burger On Its Way To Boulder

C Burger by TAG Restaurant Group is cooking up a new spot in Boulder. While there is not an exact address released as of yet, the location is listed as “coming soon” on the C Burger website.

C Burger has one existing location at 200 W Belleview Avenue in Englewood. The Boulder spot will be the second location for the brand.

C Burger is one of six concepts by Denver-based TAG Restaurant Group, founded and owned by chef Troy Guard . Other local TAG concepts include Guard and Grace, HashTAG, Los Chingones, Bubu, Tag Burger Bar and Done Deal. The group, which began in 2009, is “a celebration of the unexpected,” according to the TAG website.

“Rooted in authentic hospitality and a commitment to using locally-sourced ingredients, our brands embody a celebration of the unexpected, resonating throughout our Ohana — a family dedicated to creating cherished memories,” the website states.

Half-Eaten Cookie Hospitality , a group founded in 2010 by Bryan Dayton , is also involved in the concept.

C Burger aligns with the TAG brand by serving certified, organic, locally-sourced beef. It also aims to use sustainable practices by sourcing from partners that practice regenerative ranching, which revives grazing lands, promotes soil health and captures carbons.

The menu offers a variety of burgers, including the classic CBurger cheeseburger with cburger sauce, the Englewood cheeseburger with bacon and BBQ sauce and the portobello mushroom burger. Golden potato fries are offered as a side, and add-ons such as an extra patty or green chili sauce are available for the burgers on the menu.

As of now, the timeline for opening the new location is unclear.

What Now Denver has reached out to Guard for more information on the timeline and location. Stay tuned for updates on this location.
