More dining options are coming to The Village of Rochester Hills, including Sweetgreen , the popular salad-centric fast-casual chain slated for early 2025.

“The Village of Rochester Hills is happy to announce that the crave-able fast casual spot Sweetgreen will be coming next year to the beautiful and vibrant outdoor lifestyle and shopping center,” the center stated in a press release .

Founded by Nicolas Jammet , Nathaniel Ru , and Jonathan Neman in Washington D.C. in 2007, Sweetgreen is everything someone can expect from a fast food experience without the traditional fast food unhealthiness. Serving up refreshing salads, warm bowls, and side items, Sweetgreen is known for its healthy menu made in-house from scratch using whole produce delivered every morning.

The chain currently has over 140 locations across 13 states, according to its website . There are currently four locations in Michigan: Ann Arbor, Arbor Hills, Birmingham, and Troy. The Village of Rochester Hills will be the brand’s fifth location in the state.

The location is early in the concept stage, and little information is available. However, Sweetgreen’s corporation team told What Now Detroit there would be more information later in the year when the time gets closer to opening.
