Huntsville is about to welcome a fresh culinary experience with the arrival of The Raven Italian Bistro and Bar , set to open its doors at 1220 Sam Houston Ave . The new venture, led by Owner Alfred Limani , promises to bring a taste of Italy to the heart of this historic Texas town, transforming a former BBQ restaurant into an inviting Italian eatery and bar.

According to the permit filed for the project, the renovation is estimated to cost $150,000 and will involve a comprehensive transformation of the 5,000 square foot space. The work will repurpose the existing structure, which once housed a beloved BBQ joint, into a stylish and contemporary bistro.

Limani has yet to release further details about the menu or specific features of The Raven.
