Kuu Sushi Is Coming to Ventura Gateway

Kuu Sushi is coming to the Ventura Gateway shopping center off Telephone Road. Signage recently went up for the new 1,377 square-foot restaurant helmed by Kyong Kwon . In its former life, the space previously housed RedBrick Pizza.

According to public records, the eatery is a casual full-service Japanese fusion establishment specializing in sushi, sashimi, rolls, and soup-based noodles. They have also applied for a Type 41 alcohol license to serve beer and wine.

WNLA reached out to Kwon but he did not provide further details at this time.

There is also a new Makenna Koffee being planned in the same shopping center.
