Main Chicken Hot Chicken , a popular hot chicken chain in Southern California, is getting ready to open a new location in Venice at 401 Lincoln Blvd .

The company’s tenth location has been teased on the Main Chicken Hot Chicken website for a while now, saying it would open in 2023 with no additional information. Main Chick has been announced as one of the incoming tenants for Venice’s new “smart kitchen,” The Colony , according to Toddrickallen . Other tenants include Crumbl, Kakkoi, Goop Kitchen, Muy Thai, Good Steak, Behold Burger, Sweet Rose, Culture Crush, Xenia, and Jennie’s House.

This will be the second time The Colony pops up in Los Angeles, with the first location found on Santa Monica Boulevard featuring a similar list of tenants. While the Colony Venice is already open, Main Chick and other eateries have yet to debut at the site. When these eateries open here, they will have the opportunity to provide a unique customer experience. Equipped with a small kitchen with private walk-in coolers, hoods, sinks, and software solutions to streamline operations, The Colony features a true customer retail experience with a pick-up window, friendly lobby, and various seating opportunities.

“Colony’s unique concept encompasses digital ordering, parking and various seating opportunities, and front-of-house customer service managers,” according to the company’s website. “Our new system achieves comprehensive consistency, order accuracy, and higher speed of service. Our approach is designed to improve the overall experience and promote customer happiness.”

Main Chick has several locations throughout Los Angeles and San Diego Counties. It offers a simplistic yet delicious menu that features chicken strips, sandwiches, sides, and more. The company is expected to provide the same menu as its other locations at The Colony, giving the development a much-needed chicken option.
