A Taste of Venezuela Coming to Bartlett

A new spot for authentic Venezuelan cuisine is set to open soon in Bartlett .

Tu Combito Express will be located at 6337 Summer Ave , within the same retail center as Summer Wine & Liquor.

Owner Michel Pirela Gonzalez told What Now Memphis that the eatery will feature a variety of traditional Venezuelan dishes, including empanadas, arepas, tequeños, and cachapas.

Due to a slight language barrier, it remains unclear whether the establishment will offer quick-service or sit-down dining; however, its name suggests a primary focus on takeout.

Gonzalez said that Tu Combito Express is currently in the inspection phase, but she hopes to welcome guests by late November 2024.
