A new neighborhood cocktail bar, Perfectly Fine , is slated to open in December in The Nations at 1105 51st Ave. N .

The space formerly belonged to Rock ’n Dough Pizza and Brewery and a Corner Pub.

The ownership team behind the new cocktail bar, known as Yes 16 Tons LLC , consists of local hospitality veterans including Steve Perdue , who consults full-time in the hospitality industry and has been involved in multiple projects around Nashville, including Marriott Conference Center Cool Springs, Schermerhorn Symphony Center and E3 Chophouse. Two of the other owners on the team were part of the famous New York cocktail bar Mother’s Ruin , which has a location in Germantown.

“We’re going to create a place in West Nashville that doesn’t exist right now,” Perdue said. “We feel there’s a void there, a hole for us to fill, which is a neighborhood cocktail bar with a different spin on the food program.”

The team plans to deviate from the traditional burger-and-bar menu and offer a more unique food menu, featuring lighter, healthier options. They plan to offer both unique twists as well as traditional menu items like crab cocktails.

The spot will also feature a stage area for live music.

“We feel that there’s only one or two cocktail bars and they’re not the same style we’ll have,” Perdue said. “If you can imagine walking in and seeing the lights swinging above the bar, great music on. We have a stage so we’ll have some live music. [We want] to create an atmosphere that’s not on the west side of town right now.”
