Brian Lea and Leina Horii , the team behind East Nashville restaurant Kisser , are preparing their next project. It will join Germantown’s Neuhoff development.

They are partnering with Strategic Hospitality , a Nashville-based group led by Benjamin and Max Goldberg and chef Josh Habiger , for this yet-to-be-named restaurant concept, according to Nashville Business Journal. They partnered with Strategic Hospitality for Kisser, as well.

Lea and Horii told the Business Journal that at this time, the team is unable to provide additional details on the concept.

As of now, the timeline for opening is unclear. However, it appears that the concept is in early stages.

Lea and Horii opened Japanese restaurant Kisser in 2023. It serves items like onigiri, beef tartare, chicken curry rice, spicy miso ramen and chicken katsu sandwiches.

The Neuhoff mixed-use development, which used to be a 1900s meatpacking district, has been under development since Atlanta-based real estate firm New City Properties purchased it in 2020. Located along the Cumberland River, it offers more than 914,000 square feet of residential, office and retail space.

The Kisser team’s concept will join tenants like Close Company , E+Rose and Fishmonger . Recently, What Now Nashville also reported that the team behind Peninsula restaurant is bringing a concept to the development, as well, called Charmers & Cauponors.
