A rapidly growing chain is preparing to extends its roots to Lancaster County. Honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based concept known for providing a healthier fast-casual option, is moving into the area soon.

The popular concept is setting up shop at 1050 Christopher Place. Honeygrow has not revealed an official opening timeline for the Lancaster location, however has it listed as “coming soon” on its website.

Honeygrow will occupy 2,500 square feet of a newly built restaurant. The space will feature both indoor and outdoor seating that will be able to accommodate up to 70 guests.

Honeygrow CEO Justin Rosenberg sees the Lancaster location as an exciting opportunity for the chain. He tells the Central Penn Business Journal: “Expanding into Manheim Township is an exciting move for Honeygrow as we continue to bridge the gap between the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh markets in our home state.”

Founded in 2012, Honeygrow has enjoyed substantial growth owing to its delicious and healthy stir-fries. While the menu does offer some house-recipes, many customers are drawn in by the opportunity to design their own meal by selecting a base, a protein, a sauce, and garnishes.
