A New York based bakery is preparing to make Rittenhouse Square a little sweeter. Levain Bakery will be making its City of Brotherly Love debut later this year, reports local media outlet Philly Voice.

The chain will be opening its first Pennsylvania shop at 1518 Walnut Street. An exact opening date is not currently available, however Levain stated in a social media post that it will begin greeting customers this fall.

Philadelphians can look forward to enormous, delicious cookies once Levain fires up its ovens. The bakery has earned considerable acclaim for its approach to the sweet treat, with each hand-crafted snack weighing over a third of a pound.

Levain entered the bakery scene in 1995. Initially the concept focused on bread, though the cookies would become the eatery’s signature item. The chain now has 15 locations, with three more in the works.

Levain’s cookies come in a range of flavors, including chocolate chip walnut, dark chocolate peanut butter chip, oatmeal raisin, and dark chocolate chocolate chip.
