Pita Chip Bringing Mediterranean Flavors to the Concourse

The Comcast Center is preparing to welcome a burst of Mediterranean flair this autumn. Pita Chip is bringing its unique approach to the aforementioned cuisine to the Concourse later this year, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal .

The chain is bringing its falafel and shawarma to 1701 John F. Kennedy Boulevard later this fall. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Pita Chip is slated to open in mid-November. The official Pita Chip website currently lists the Concourse website as simply “coming soon”.

Pita Chip currently has 3 locations spread across the greater Philadelphia area. The unique concept seeks to provide a fast-casual spin on a blend of Philadelphian and modern Middle-Eastern fare.

Pita Chip’s menu allows customers to choose from pre-fab dishes or to curate their own meals. Guests can choose from wraps, salad bowls, and rice bowls. They then select proteins, toppings, and sauces, to craft their ideal dinners.
