Pepper Lunch , the Japanese-born experiential fast-casual concept, is unlike any other, with more than 500 locations in 15 countries, and it announced that the company will be opening soon at Arizona State University .

This is the latest from the BID Investment Group , a locally owned development company with 50 years of combined expertise across the food and beverage industry, according to a press release . Pepper Lunch’s ASU location is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year , joining Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Subway, and more. The new site will be found at the University Gateway Building , conveniently located at the Gammage Light Rail stop, adjacent to the year-round operating Performing Arts Center.

“Arizona State University has tremendous diversity in its community, with an equally diverse palate to match,” Troy Hooper , CEO of Pepper Lunch, said in a press release. “We’re honored to be on campus with iconic restaurants like Chick-fil-A and are looking forward to giving students a delicious option for lunch or dinner.”

Attached to the store is a 1200-space parking garage with free in/out access for to-go pick-up, as well as a new large dorm apartment complex that complements the already existing dorm buildings next door. Within a block are multiple hotels, office buildings, and retail shops, allowing a consistent flow of new customers to discover Pepper Lunch’s amazing DIY Teppanyaki for the first time.

Established in 1994, Pepper Lunch is one of Japan’s largest homegrown franchise restaurant brands, with over 500 locations in 15 countries. Renowned for quality food served in a unique and innovative way for dining in or delivery, and with guests being able to get in, dine, and be on their way in 20 minutes for under $20, the beloved Japanese-based brand seeks experienced franchise partners to expand its proven business model and cutting-edge customer offerings across the United States.
