Dave’s Hot Chicken is Coming to the West Valley Next Year

Dave’s Hot Chicken , the popular and fast-growing chicken chain, is preparing to open several new locations in the greater Phoenix area, including a new site in Goodyear .

Previously, What Now Phoenix reported on Elevated Restaurant Group opening in Gilbert and Midtown as part of a 12-site franchise agreement. Now it’s a bit clearer where ERG plans to open more Dave’s Hot Chicken locations, starting with a new site in Goodyear. The company broke ground on the group’s newest Dave’s Hot Chicken last month, marking the third in Arizona. The new Goodyear site is expected to open in 2025 , followed by new locations in Avondale and Phoenix .

“We are excited to announce Dave’s Hot Chicken coming to GSQ,” Mayor Joe Pizzillo said in a press release . “We’re thrilled to welcome this popular eatery with a spectacular following, and we’re happy to add yet another great dining option to our growing downtown District—there will be something for nearly everyone’s taste and wallet.”

Dave’s Hot Chicken specializes in jumbo hot chicken tenders and sliders. Guests can select from a range of heat levels for their hot sauce, including the Reaper, which is so hot that a signed waiver is required. They also serve chocolate, vanilla, strawberry shakes with toppers and recently released Dave’s Frozen Slushers. Elevated Restaurant Group also plans to bring these delicious flavors to parts of California, with locations planned for Santa Fe Springs, Whitter, and Anaheim.

“Our expansion into the West Valley is exciting,” Dave’s Hot Chicken Director of Operations James Chavez said in a press release. “We’re looking forward to being part of one of the fastest growing cities, not just in Arizona, but in the entire nation, and to connect with the community.”

Dave’s Hot Chicken is one of the newest businesses to announce its opening at GSQ, Goodyear’s downtown, located near McDowell Road and 150th Drive. GSQ will be a walkable urban center with high-quality restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Other restaurants opening at GSQ include The Stillery , High Tide Seafood Bar & Grill , Baccus Wine Bar , Copper & Sage , Spitz Mediterranean Street Food , Shake Shack , Over Easy , and Yard Milkshake Bar .
