Field House American Sports Pub to Relocate to New Location

Field House American Sports Pub , a Sacramento staple, is entering a new chapter soon as owner Matthew Wagner prepares to move the business to a new property he’d recently purchased. The new building, located at 1833 Fulton Ave , is less than a mile away and was previously occupied by Basha Taste of Jerusalem. This news was first seen in the Sacramento Business Journal .

“We are renting our current location, and the rent was astronomical, so it made more sense to buy a building and pay myself back,” Wagner told The Business Journal. “We wanted to stay in the area because we have a good local following.”

Currently located at 1310 Fulton Ave, Suite D, the beloved sports bar has served the Arden Arcade community for the past decade, boasting 17 televisions and a projector screen. Wagner took over the pub 7 years ago and has brought the business to a new reputation level with its Bloody Marys and classic bar food menu.

The sale of the 3,790-square-foot restaurant building closed escrow last week, and Wagner is aiming to complete the relocation by Oct. 31 as long as cosmetic improvements and liquor license transfer go as planned. In the meantime, Field House’s current location is tentatively set to close on Oct. 27, allowing a few days for the team to move everything into the new space.
